Hello Spring! April you've been beautiful!
What a month! April saw the return of group Yoga classes, both on the beach and in the woods, we're back to eating at restaurants with our friends and family...yes we're sat outside but the English weather has been very kind considering its showers month. I managed to start seeing my one to one clients back in person and not just through my computer camera.
Beach Yoga Flow was extremely popular and it was so lovely to see so many new faces as well as returning faces. The energy flowing within these group classes was truly inspiring. You all showed up for yourselves and took the time to give back to your body and mind. It was definitely very chilly at the beginning of the month, but we got through it and Summer is not far on that horizon.
Beach Yoga Skills took its debut appearance and had fantastic feedback! I love teaching these postures and drills so you can take something home with you from each class. This class is totally different to both Beach Yoga Flow and Woodland Yoga Flow. You'll have to attend a class to see what all the fuss is about! Book now. The next class in Tuesday 4th May 7-8am at the usual spot, Branksome Chine Beach, just in front of the cafe. I'd highly reccommend those that want to attend, complete my backbend Youtube Tutorials as we're going to be focusing on the spine, shoulders and working towards our middle splits! Exciting!
Woodland Yoga Flow also made it's first appearance at Strength Camp, offering current members the additional service of weekly Yoga Classes. Even if you're not a member, drop in clients are more than welcome. The beautiful Woodland setting is located at Cody Sports and Social Club in Fleet, Hampshire. The sunrise through the trees is something you have to experience!
In case you're not on socials, we announced our first ever giveaway this week. One lucky winner will be gifted a beautiful Esme Fitness Yoga Mat in their choice of three different colours AND a private one to one class with Sandy Toes Yoga, tailor made for them. If you would like to enter but don't do the social media stuff, please drop us an email to be included in the prize draw.
I'm ending my April in one of the most beautiful parts of the world, Cornwall. Taking some time for myself, surfing with friends and loved ones, doing lots of self practice down here on the beaches and sharing my energy with my friends. I'm keeping note of all the beautiful beaches I've found, cool local bars, beautiful breathtaking walks and awesome places to eat with all the vegan options! Subscribe to Sandy Toes Yoga for all the Cornwall gossip!
Finishing off, I wanted to thank you all for your support and love during these crazy times. Whether you've attended zoom classes, group classes, one to ones or even sharing my things on social media, it honestly means so much! I look forward to seeing you all soon, namaste, Sian x
